Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chat Exporter browser extensions and this website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by anuis258 ("we", "us", "our"). By installing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Chat Exporter provides browser extensions that let you export your AI chat conversations (from Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Studio) into formats such as Word, PDF, Google Docs, Notion, and Markdown. We are an independent product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI, Perplexity, DeepSeek, OpenAI, or Google.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Plans, Licenses & Payments

• Free plan — basic usage with monthly export limits.
• Monthly plan ($10/month) — unlimited conversions and all export formats.
• Yearly plan ($79/year) — unlimited conversions, all formats, and priority support.

Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy. When you purchase a plan, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, billing, taxes, and invoicing on our behalf. Their terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment portion of your purchase. A paid plan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.

4. Subscriptions & Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal link in your purchase receipt; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law;
• resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
• use the Service to infringe intellectual property, violate the terms of any third-party platform, or break any applicable law;
• attempt to bypass usage limits, license checks, or payment.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to the conversations and content you export. The extension processes your data locally in your browser to generate exports; we do not claim ownership of your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, logos, and content, is owned by anuis258 and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future changes made by third-party AI platforms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, anuis258 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
